Every person who feels the influence of Spirits, in any degree of intensity, is considered a medium. This faculty is inherent to human beings. Therefore, it is not a privilege, and it is rare to find someone who does not possess it, at least in a rudimentary state. One could say, then, that everyone is a medium to a greater or lesser degree. Usually, however, this term is applied only to those who have a well-developed mediumistic faculty, which manifests through clear and intense effects, dependent on a more or less sensitive constitution.

It should also be noted that this faculty does not reveal itself in the same way for everyone. Mediums generally have a special aptitude for a specific type of phenomenon, which divides them into as many varieties as there are forms of manifestations.

Mediumistic education is a lifelong journey, for as the medium becomes more skilled and refined, the greater the resources available to them in fulfilling their spiritual mission.

Therefore, mediumship is not merely about communicating with Spirits, but above all, it is a powerful tool for self-education and inner transformation.
